BAALBECK INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL – THE SOUND OF RESILIENCE
The Baalbek Festival Committee orchestrated a unique cultural event in the Middle East known as “The Sound of Resilience” concert. Conceived by Maestro Harout Fazlian and directed by Jean-Louis Mainguy, the concert aimed to promote cultural resilience, unity, and hope. To enhance the visual experience, the Baalbek Festival Committee entrusted Cre8mania with the task of designing stunning 3D mapping visuals for the hour-long concert.

What We Did
With inspiration drawn from their own cultural heritage, our artists were thrilled to contribute to one of the most significant events in the MENA region following the Covid-19 pandemic. They conceptualized a one-hour show for the concert, envisioning spectacular 3D mapping animations to be projected onto the majestic temple of Bacchus in the City of the Sun. The aim was to extend the background perspective of the musicians, while the 3D visuals and animations reflected the grandeur of the location and perfectly synchronized with the music being performed.
The Results
"The Sound of Resilience" concert, held in the absence of a live audience, was broadcasted live on July 5, 2020, through local and international television channels, as well as various social media platforms and digital networks. The captivating performance, accompanied by stunning sound and visuals, successfully conveyed messages of solidarity, continuity, and the preservation of artistic heritage.
